The Bellydance Superstars

Bellydance Superstars is a professional Bellydance troupe that, by 2009, has performed concerts in 20 countries to over a million people in over 600 shows. Their performance is imaginative and the troupe gains inspiration by studying styles of dance from diverse cultures. Bellydance Superstars make a concerted effort to take this ancient art form into the mainstream of international entertainment similar with ballet and shows like Riverdance.

UNMATA

Teaching and Performing at major festivals and events across the country and around the globe, tribal-fusion powerhouse UNMATA's high-energy brand of dance has packed the house and electrified audiences at venues of all sizes. Whether using fire, swords, or just the sweat off their own bodies, UNMATA always satisfies!

Creative Director, Amy Sigil, teaches classes in Sacramento, California at Hot Pot Studio. Members of the troupe include Amy Sigil, Shelly DeCant, Kari Vanderzwag, Sarah Stinson, and April Rose

The Nautch Project

The Nautch Project is a group of dedicated students who take weekly classes with April Rose in order to learn and master her choreography. In addition to their choreographic repetoire, the troupe performs Hot Pot Improvisational Tribal Style. They perform at local festivals and events in Southern California.

The name Nautch comes from the Hindi verb naachna, meaning “to dance.”
